How To Improve Your Vision Naturally...

Your eyes are vitally important to your overall health. Imagine what it would be like if you suddenly weren't able to see all the things that you've enjoyed throughout all the past years. Unfortunately, a lot of people have the misconception that it's just normal for your eyesight to get gradually worse as you get older and that the only thing you can do about it is wear contact lenses or glasses.

In some more extreme cases, people decide to get surgery. Surgery of any type is a major decision and it's not one that should be made lightly. There's no guarantee that it will work and just like any other surgery, there are multiple chances for complications. What if you could improve your eye health and see with near-perfect vision without risking surgery and even without wearing contact lenses or glasses?

Is This Really Possible?

For many people, the problem involves issues like double vision. If you think that you've already tried virtually every solution and you still haven't found one that really works well for you, don't lose hope. In reality, it's just as important that you work toward finding a natural solution for this and other problems. For example, you might want to try the Pure Vision Method. This gives you an opportunity to improve your eyesight without the need for corrective lenses of any type and you don't have to worry about getting surgery. Instead, everything is handled utilizing natural forms of treatment.

What is Involved with This Method?

The first thing that you would do utilizing this method is to take a free assessment. That allows everyone to gather important information concerning the severity of your eye problem and the best course of treatment. Remember, it doesn't cost you anything to get the assessment so you're not risking anything. However, you very well could be on the road to changing your life for the better without even knowing it. This could be the solution that you've been looking for, for a number of years. The thing is, you'll never know until you try.

How do You Correct Vision Naturally?

Like most holistic approaches for medicine, this one involves determining the root cause of problem. There is a reason that you're having vision issues and in order to address the issue, it's imperative to know exactly why it's occurring in the first place. Once that has been determined using the free assessment, a comprehensive treatment program that's all natural can be developed for you. This gets to the root cause of that problem without forcing you into major decisions like getting surgery or requiring you to wear glasses for the rest of your life.

What Types of Things are Typically Involved?

You might be surprised how important it really is that you eat the right types of foods, get enough exercise, and get the sleep you need in order to be healthy. It's also important to reduce stress. People hear these things time and time again, but they have a habit of believing that something so simple can't fix their problem. The truth is, these are the things that can fix most of the problems within the human body. It is the surgeries and the prescription medications that don't actually deal with the issue at hand, largely because they only mask the symptoms or correct them surgically. In either case, they don't get to the root of the issue like this type of approach can do.

At the end of the day, you have absolutely nothing to lose so there's no reason not to take the free assessment and get on the road having better vision. Imagine what it would be like to get rid of the glasses and stop thinking about surgery, all because you've done something as simple as eat a healthier diet, take some natural supplements, and start exercising again.

All of these things benefit not just your eyes, but your entire body. When you adopt a lifestyle like this and you're getting enough sleep, you're healthier physically, more productive mentally, and you're happier. As previously mentioned, you have nothing to lose, but you have so much that you could potentially gain.

• Generally, green and yellow vegetables prevent blindness and age-related macular generation. Foods that contain plenty of sulfur, lecithin and cysteine prevent the formation of cataracts. They include onions, capers, shallots, and garlic.

• Those that are rich in anthocyanins like blueberries, goji berries, and grapes, have plenty of anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. These improve your vision.

• Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) is a fatty acid. It is plenty in coldwater fish like sardines, cod, wild salmon, and mackerel. It provides support to the cell membranes. It thus boosts the health of the eyes.

Great Eye Health Tips For Everyone

Eye problems are now considered a global health concern. Yet, most eye problems are treatable. Does this mean conventional eye treatment methods are not working?

How to keep your eyes healthy

Eye problems and diseases can be genetic.

Such problems are hard to treat. But those caused by injury, age, and health issues such as diabetes are preventable.

Take the following steps to keep your eyes healthy:

1. Look Away:

Looking away from the computer and phone screen. Looking at computer and phone screen is bad for your eyes. It causes eyestrain, blurred vision, and dry eyes.

2. Eating Well:

A healthy diet can thwart age-related eye problems. These include cataracts and muscular degeneration. Nutrients that help with vision include zinc, lutein, omega-3 fatty acids and vitamins E and C.

3. Wearing Sunglasses:

Exposure to ultraviolet (UV) rays causes cataracts and muscular degeneration. A good pair of sunglasses will shield your eyes from UV rays.

But, at the same time, make sure you get at least some sunlight directly into your eyes to nourish your eyes each and every day. It’s important to keep your eyes well nourished with Vitamin D.

4. Stop Smoking:

Smoking damages the optic nerve and causes muscular degeneration. It also makes you more likely to get cataracts.

5. Visiting An Eye Doctor:

Visit your doctor on a regular basis for an eye exam. Eye diseases like glaucoma are only treatable in the early stages. Regular eye exams help detect such diseases early.

How are eye problems treated?

The conventional methods of treating eye diseases and eye problems include:
  • Eyeglasses and contact lenses
  • Medication
  • Eye exercise
  • Surgery

In most cases, these methods do not address the root cause of the problem. Actually, some of these solutions make you dependent.

More Glaucoma Patients In Cities?

One of the important things we are constantly discussing with our glaucoma clients in the Vision Pure Method is the element of stress.

And a study proves this to be true. Because there are a lot more glaucoma patients in the city than in the more relaxed countryside setting.

Check it out:

Abstract

Study Purpose

Glaucoma is the leading cause of global irreversible blindness. Present estimates of global glaucoma prevalence are not up-to-date and focused mainly on European ancestry populations. We systematically examined the global prevalence of primary open-angle glaucoma (POAG) and primary angle-closure glaucoma (PACG), and projected the number of affected people in 2020 and 2040.

Study Design

Systematic review and meta-analysis.
ParticipantsData from 50 population-based studies (3770 POAG cases among 140 ≥496 examined individuals and 786 PACG cases among 112 398 examined individuals).
Methods We searched PubMed, Medline, and Web of Science for population-based studies of glaucoma prevalence published up to March 25, 2013. Hierarchical Bayesian approach was used to estimate the pooled glaucoma prevalence of the population aged 40-80 years along with 95% credible intervals (CrIs). Projections of glaucoma were estimated based on the United Nations World Population Prospects. Bayesian meta-regression models were performed to assess the association between the prevalence of POAG and the relevant factors.

Study Main Outcome

Measures Prevalence and projection numbers of glaucoma cases.
Results The global prevalence of glaucoma for population aged 40-80 years is 3.54% (95% CrI, 2.09-5.82). The prevalence of POAG is highest in Africa (4.20%; 95% CrI, 2.08-7.35), and the prevalence of PACG is highest in Asia (1.09%; 95% CrI, 0.43-2.32). In 2013, the number of people (aged 40-80 years) with glaucoma worldwide was estimated to be 64.3 million, increasing to 76.0 million in 2020 and 111.8 million in 2040. In the Bayesian meta-regression model, men were more likely to have POAG than women (odds ratio [OR], 1.36; 95% CrI, 1.23-1.52), and after adjusting for age, gender, habitation type, response rate, and year of study, people of African ancestry were more likely to have POAG than people of European ancestry (OR, 2.80; 95% CrI, 1.83-4.06), and people living in urban areas were more likely to have POAG than those in rural areas (OR, 1.58; 95% CrI, 1.19-2.04).

Study Conclusions

The number of people with glaucoma worldwide will increase to 111.8 million in 2040, disproportionally affecting people residing in Asia and Africa. These estimates are important in guiding the designs of glaucoma screening, treatment, and related public health strategies.

Study Shows Pure Vision Method Is Based On Science

Here is an interesting study that shows that the PureVision Method is based on science, not ficiton. Nutrition is a cornerstone for glaucoma patients. Without sufficient amounts of essential nutrients, glaucoma patients will lose their vision.

Vision loss is directly related to anti-oxidants and essential nutrients.

Study Abstract:

Glaucomatous optic neuropathy implies loss of retinal ganglion cells, including their axons, and a major tissue remodeling, especially in the optic nerve head. Although increased intraocularpressure is a major risk factor for glaucomatous optic neuropathy, there is little doubt that other factorssuch as ocular blood flow play a role as well. Mechanisms leading to glaucomatous optic neuropathy are not yet clearly understood. There is, however, increasing evidence that both an activation of glialcells and an oxidative stress in the axons play an important role. Glial cells may be activated by mechanical stress via activation of the epidermal growth-factor-receptor, or by ischemic stress via anincrease in endothelin. Several factors can systemically or locally increase oxidative stress.

In glaucoma,an unstable ocular blood flow leading to repeated mild reperfusion seems to be most relevant ininducing oxidative stress. The simultaneous production of nitric oxide in the astrocytes and of superoxide in the mitochondria of the axons leads to the production of the damaging peroxynitrite.Therapeutically, we need to reduce intraocular pressure, stabilize ocular blood flow, and reduceoxidative stress. Various natural compounds possess potential antioxidative value. Reduction of oxidative stress at the level of mitochondria can be achieved by gingko biloba.

Polyphenoliccompounds, such as tea, red wine, dark chocolate, or coffee have antioxidative properties. Coffeecontains 3-methyl-1,2-cyclopentanedione (MCP), capable of scavenging peroxynitirite. Red wine-polyphenols (e.g., resveratrol), exert vasoprotective effects by inhibiting the synthesis of endothelin-1.Dark chocolate decreases blood pressure and improves endothelium-dependant vasorelaxation. Anthocyanosides (bilberries) owe their antioxidant effects to their particular chemical structure. Otherantioxidants include ubiquinone and melatonin.
